 Art Deco Goes Egyptian
Art Deco expert Sharon Koskoff will describe her adventures with anecdotes and photos from a recent journey to the Pyramids of Egypt and beyond. In Egypt she explored the globe’s oldest civilization and its direct influence on Modernism and the Art Deco Style. Travel with Sharon from the Pyramids and Sphinx near Cairo down the Nile to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. Find out what it is like to walk through tunnels to explore the tombs of the pharaohs and queens and examine architectural treasures like Karnak and the statues of Ramses II.  Sharon is president of the Art Deco Society of the Palm Beaches and one of the foremost American experts on the fields of Art Deco and Modernism.
